Pre Start
If anybody really knows me they know that I love my food. So today having no junk food was different. I am not going to lie my stomach was growling cause I didn't eat as much as I normally would but I actually do feel better that I didn't eat all of the stuff I normally do. I didn't cheat and eat a candy bar although I wanted one I didn't have one. I came home and had a decent dinner. I made a good salad with some cooked chicken and was pretty proud of myself that I didn't order a pizza like a normally would have. I think by the end of this my pizza place I normally order from is going to start calling me and asking if I am alright. Ha ha.

I always wanted to be a professional chef, so believe me, I understand about giving up flavor. What I would suggest if you are hungry during the day is to keep some snacks at your desk. You should eat about 5-6 times per day to keep your metabolism up. You could even get some peanut butter pretzels from Trader Joes (so yummy). That would take care of salty and sweet cravings. If I remember correctly, I do not think they are high in calories or fat. I have a ton of snack ideas that are satifying, but not fattening if you want some more. :)

ReplyDeleteAnother thing to is if you keep your carbs low it will help you from craving more carbs and eat high protein will help you feel full. Atleast that is what they say. :-0
